About
Actors living with Down syndrome take the stage to reinterpret *Hamlet* in a free-form and deeply personal adaptation, where Shakespeare’s text engages with their own life experiences. Through the famous “to be or not to be” question, the play explores what it means to exist in a society that still struggles to fully recognize those perceived as different.
By blending theater and reality, the play highlights their desires, frustrations, and artistic power of expression. It challenges social norms, performance ideals, and dominant models of beauty and productivity, placing performers who are too often marginalized at the center.
An international phenomenon, the show has been presented in over 20 countries and 50 cities, translated and subtitled in numerous languages. In Spanish with French subtitles.
The activity takes place in all weather conditions, unless safety is compromised
