About
When Laura tells Henri that she’s landed the lead role in Sylvain Pastrami’s new film, the fragile balance of their relationship begins to crumble. Henri, a failed and anxious writer, becomes a monster of jealousy as his girlfriend shines under the leering gaze of the unbearable director and his entourage. Henri sinks into pathos, and then Dr. Von Strudel piles it on with her novel diagnosis, “turtle syndrome,” which will leave him deformed and in pain within two years. How can Henri measure up to the darling of Quebec cinema and win back Laura’s love?
