About
Michelle and her cat, Moustache, have just moved into the neighborhood. But no sooner had they settled in than Moustache ran away! He’d never run away before… Michelle is terrified at the thought of what might have happened to him. She sets out to find him and meets several alley cats, all of whom have valuable clues for her. A new cat seems to be lurking around, but no one has seen Moustache anywhere… What if our cats aren’t always who we think they are? Performed outdoors near La Caserne at dusk, *Michelle and the Alley Cats* explores the themes of domesticity and freedom. As they accompany Michelle on her investigation, the audience is invited to solve the mystery of Moustache’s disappearance… and to meet a band of rebellious felines who, between jazz tunes, reign over the alley and its trash cans.
