On the Bic Islands, in the Lower St. Lawrence region, the silhouette of a woman lying in the water can be seen in the distance at this unique spot in Quebec. Meet Florence, a little girl born on the waves, whose family came from far away to live on our shores. In this modern and poetic legend, the St. Lawrence River tells her story. A vibrant tribute to the sea, to our mothers, and to the women of the land A coastal fable, brought to life on stage by a trio of musicians and splendid puppets, *Flo des rives* is *Le Gros Mécano*’s 66th production, created to mark the company’s 50th anniversary. The show gives nature a voice to trace the passage of time in a magnificent, multidisciplinary journey through the cycle of life that touches the heart.
