Four characters live in a plastic hell, completely devoid of any other living beings and surrounded by impenetrable translucent screens. To ward off their fate and stave off boredom, they dance. With precision, fervor, and passion, every day they try to find a little beauty by creating impossible movements that defy the body’s limits. Will the inhabitants of this strange environment manage to free themselves from this dreary, monotonous existence? Do they even want to? Dancing to forget, dancing to live—in an era where pausing to observe the beauty of life seems to have become a futility, *Les Autres* explores, through sensitive storytelling and exquisitely precise choreography, our relationship with the world. From chance encounters to relentless quests, the four friends may eventually commit this crucial, most rebellious of acts: marveling at life. A glimmer of hope, presented in a dozen countries, that makes us want to believe that everyone has the power to create.
