The Scriptarium is a vibrant incubator that encourages teenagers to give voice to their thoughts and imaginations. This writing project allows them to discover the worlds of inspiring figures and explore various artistic, literary, and philosophical movements. Inspired by this initiative, students will collaborate with curators to write texts that will serve as the starting point for a professional theatrical production.Creating Your Alter EgoFor this (already!) tenth edition of Scriptarium, the artistic co-directors of Théâtre Le Clou, Sylvain Scott and Benoît Vermeulen, are taking the helm! They invite young people to imagine and bring to life their own alter ego—that amplified version of the self that allows us to express strengths, emotions, or desires we don’t always dare to show. What does an alter ego allow us to say, do, or embody?
