Patrick Giguère: *Ce qui frémit*
Inspired by a passage from Véronique Côté’s *La vie habitable*, *Ce qui frémit* is an invitation to slow down and listen closely to what resonates within us. Through harmonies and melodies of surprising familiarity, enhanced by the use of just intonation, Patrick Giguère explores an intimate, sensitive, and luminous listening experience. The work will be performed by Marie-Loup Cottinet on the viola da gamba and Daniel Áñez on synthesizers.
The Bozzini Quartet Performs George Lewis
The Bozzini Quartet dedicates an exceptional evening to the world of American composer, musicologist, and trombonist George Lewis, a major figure in contemporary music. Recognized for his innovative work at the intersection of composition, improvisation, and interactive technologies, Lewis explores in his works the many ways in which music can reflect social, cultural, and human realities.
