Haiti’s iconic symbol is celebrating its 70th anniversary!
Music starts at 7 p.m.: Richy Jay. Originally from Haiti and now based in Montreal, Richy Jay shapes his musical world through influences such as zouk, kompa, and Afropop. He delivers energetic and festive performances that get the crowd moving and invite everyone to dance.
Named “Canadian-Haitian Artist of the Year 2024” at the Haitian Music Awards in Miami, Richy Jay tells stories of resilience, love, and identity, where every song becomes a celebration. His new album, *Caribbean Love*, celebrates love in all its forms in Haitian Creole, French, English, and Spanish.
The artist also contributed to the soundtrack of the hit TV series *Heated Rivalry*, which features his songs “En dedans” and “De la tête aux pieds.”
The activity takes place in all weather conditions, unless safety is compromised
