About
Perceive, experience, understand. Working in tandem, Hélène Blackburn and Cai Glover immerse themselves once again in this breathtaking epic to embrace the sheer grandeur of one of the greatest masterpieces in the classical repertoire: Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. In this version, where precision continues to guide beauty, sight and hearing take a back seat, making way for the pure magic of dance. The physical choreography explores the emotions we ascribe to inanimate objects and how these objects can fill the gaps that our limitations—regardless of their magnitude—create between us and reality.
Artistic Direction and Choreography: Hélène Blackburn and Cai Glover
Performers: Nicholas Bellefleur, Cai Glover, Robert Guy, Daphnée Laurendeau, Danny Morissette, and soprano Jolien de Gendt
The activity takes place in all weather conditions, unless safety is compromised
