About
Geneviève Ackerman: Rhymes Unraveled by the Sphinx
Rhymes Unraveled by the Sphinx is a cycle of enigmatic, dreamlike songs in just intonation for two singers (Florence Tremblay and Geneviève Ackerman) and two guitarists (Alexandre Éthier and Francis Brunet-Turcotte). Each song is a vivid, living soundscape that invites the listener to become an intimate traveler into the depths of matter. The original lyrics are by poet Frédérik Dufour, and the music is by composer Geneviève Ackerman.
Williwaw
Williwaw is driven by boundless sonic curiosity and the wonder of redefining, in its own way, what wind instruments can be. Together, the three musicians explore the dynamics between simple sound and the vibrations of other sounds created from objects and instrumental preparations. Improvisation becomes a living, exploratory force—an invitation to transform the familiar and reveal unexpected textures.
