Set out on an unusual artistic journey through the heart of the Saint-Roch neighborhood. This guided walk invites participants to explore the manhole covers created as part of the Les Regards fous project, produced by Folie/Culture to mark the 400th anniversary of Quebec City nearly 20 years ago.
Following a predetermined route, participants will discover these creations discreetly scattered throughout the neighborhood and gain a fresh perspective on the urban landscape.
During the walk, participants will be invited to experiment with urban impressions. Using modeling clay, they will be able to make casts of details observed on the artistic plaques and other textured surfaces encountered along the way. These impressions will then serve as stencils to create ink prints in a personal notebook.
