About
During this workshop, three musicians—Xuan Lucie Liu, Mahshad Nadalian, and Aditya Verma—will discuss their career paths, strategies, and challenges in building a professional career in Quebec, and will share their perspectives on Musique Immigration (a digital platform designed to support immigrant artists in their professional development in the province).
Also in attendance will be Ziya Tabassian, artistic director of the Festival Accès Asie and musician; Caroline Marcoux-Gendron (UQAM/HEC Montréal), the researcher who initiated the Musique Immigration project; and Hortense Dubus, a doctoral student and member of the research team (UdeM) as well as a cultural worker.
A networking session will follow the workshop.
