À propos
A prodigious instrumentalist and a talented and imaginative compositor, harmonica player Guy Bélanger is an authentic creator. Two years after the release of his first solo album, he brought out a second album in August 2010, Crossroads, with 15 tracks.
An album with an evocative title that brings to mind Cross Road Blues by the legendary Robert Leroy Johnson, Crossroads is intended as a journey. A singular journey that takes us to the crossroads— of genres, from near and far, somewhere between blues and folk, past and present.
For this original acoustic performance, instrumentals and songs, original compositions and reinterpretations alternate to reveal the huge talent of this virtuoso, with great vocals and sound from his seasoned back-up musicians, Gilles Sioui and André Lachance.
