About
Celebrate Quebec’s National Holiday in the heart of Old Quebec. A program rich in living traditions for everyone. Head to the Batterie-Royale (at the corner of Sous-le-fort and St-Pierre streets, in Old Quebec) for a day filled with free hands-on activities.
1:00 PM to 4:00 PM: Introduction to chevron weaving with Maude Filion and Jeffrey Poirier. Make your own chevron keychain in the colors of the National Holiday.
4:00 PM to 5:00 PM: Singing
walk through the streets of Old Quebec with Gabrielle Bouthillier and Céleste Uhde. Departure and return at the Royal Battery.
5:00 PM: Picnic—bring your own lunch or support local
businesses. 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM: Traditional music performance with the group La Déferlance
. In case of rain, activities will be moved to the basement of Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church on Place-Royale at 32 Rue Sous-de-Fort. There are stairs to enter this location.
In case of inclement weather, the activity will take place indoors
