About
MARISOL, a Peruvian artist based in Montreal, is a self-taught songwriter and producer who blends Latin percussion, 70s jazz, hip-hop, and R&B into multilingual songs with warm grooves. After making his debut under the name Guapo with the group CLOUD N9NE, he has been pursuing an eclectic solo project since 2022, blending reggaeton, afrobeats, and electro with an intimate universe deeply rooted in his origins.
Tamboréal Samba Bloco is a Montreal-based Afro-Brazilian percussion collective celebrating diversity and community through samba, maracatu, and ijexá. Known for its festive energy, the group has performed at the Festival Nuits d'Afrique and the Montreal Beer Festival, and was a semi-finalist at the Syli d'Or in 2025, affirming its place on the Montreal cultural scene.
