*Héritages*, by Sophie Hamisultane and Sandra Desmazières, explores how “Asian” women are perceived through the lens of colonial imaginaries.
The discussion will include a presentation of the comic book and a sharing of reflections on the experiences of younger generations of “Asian” women born to immigrant parents.
The comic book’s storyline is based on stories drawn from Sophie Hamisultane’s research and illustrated by Sandra Desmazières (César 2026, Best Animated Short Film).
