About
This introductory pottery class offers your first experience with the potter’s wheel, guided to help you understand the essential techniques and experience the magic of centering. You’ll leave with practical tips: how to set up your workspace and how to work with clay. The 2.5-hour introductory session includes one piece that we’ll finish for you. It will be ready for pickup a few weeks later, after we’ve dried, glazed, and fired it. Perfect for beginners or for those looking to practice more and solidify their fundamentals, in small groups of up to 6 people in a beautiful artist’s studio. Classes are taught in French, with assistance available in English during the hands-on practice session. Participants must be 13 years of age or older. Online reservations required.
