Magali had a clear idea of what she wanted to become: a great theater actress with an ethereal personality, draped in silk—a mystery on two very long legs. While her friends prayed to the Baby Jesus for a generous bust, Magali clearly wasn’t praying for the same thing. She longed for the aura of those gentle, ethereal actresses, always teetering on the edge of the abyss. Magali courted that abyss extensively.
