A COMEDY SHOW 100% BASED ON *The Lord of the Rings*!
This Friday, October 18, at 8 p.m., in the comfort of the now-renamed Saint-Jean Comédie-Club in the beautiful city of Quebec, the themed comedy show FRODON and All the Others! will take place.
For one night only, five comedians will perform original material themed around the One Ring (man, that’s a mouthful of a phrase). The whole show will be hosted by the ever-nostalgic Vincent Descôteaux!
You’ll see:
Medieval jokes about Aragorn, dying of sadness when you’re an elf, the fact that the only Magic: The Gathering card featuring the One Ring belongs to Post Malone, jokes about the movies, the books, maybe *The Silmarillion*, and DEFINITELY ABOUT TOM BOMBADILE!!!!, why they didn’t use eagles to get to Mordor, and much more!
There will also be:
Music from the movies played in the bar
Screened clips, surprises
Themed cocktails—The Lord of the Rings drinks will be exclusively on the menu for the duration of the show! (like the Nazgul Velvet or something)
Maybe some “Fellowship of the Ring”-themed giveaways! Like a second breakfast or an 11 a.m. snack. Don’t miss it!
$20 in advance + taxes and small fees
$30 at the door (if there are any tickets left, hehe)
The activity takes place in all weather conditions, unless safety is compromised
