During the summer, the Société de la Rivière Saint-Charles organizes a variety of kayaking outings! The “Pagayer en groupe” program, presented by the Caisse d'économie solidaire Desjardins, offers guided or self-guided kayaking outings for groups of 8 to 30 people. Whether with family, friends, your community organization, or a corporate group, get out on the water from the Saint-Roch marina and enjoy the natural gem that is the Saint-Charles River.Led by an instructor, these introductory kayaking activities will teach you the basics of river kayaking. The one-and-a-half-hour course begins on dry land at the Saint-Roch Marina, where your guide will teach you how to launch, paddle, and get out of the water. You’ll then be invited to take to the water, where you can explore the Saint-Charles River with your instructor. All the equipment needed for kayaking will be provided upon your arrival at the Saint-Roch Marina. Please note that all our water activities are intended for people ages 12 and older. Youth ages 12 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
