The Ben Racine Band is one of Montreal’s most renowned blues bands. Its signature sound combines a solid rhythm section, powerful saxophones, and precise Telecaster guitar playing, creating an irresistible blend of blues, soul, and funk.
Over the years, the band has backed several major figures in the blues scene, including Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne, Andria Simone, Shakura S’Aida, Curtis Salgado, Thornetta Davis, and Dawn Tyler Watson. They have also opened for renowned artists such as Edgar Winter, ZZ Top, and Vintage Trouble.
On stage, Ben Racine captivates audiences with his infectious energy and a voice inspired by the great R&B singers of the 1950s and 1960s. Winner of a JUNO Award in 2020 and first prize at the International Blues Challenge in 2017, the Ben Racine Band delivers a powerful, authentic, and decidedly festive show.
