25 Years of Capoeira in Quebec City: Free Brazilian Festival at Place Jean-Béliveau! The Sul da Bahia school is celebrating a quarter-century of passion with a festive day that’s 100% free for the whole family. Come feel the rhythm of Brazil! On the schedule: From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Free workshops for teens and adults. At 1:00 p.m.: Festive entertainment. At 1:30 p.m.: Introductory workshops for children. At 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.: Demonstrations at the Grand Marché de Québec. At 2:00 p.m.: Official graduation ceremony for students. At 3:30 p.m.: Live Brazilian music performance by the group Forrossanova. Make yourself comfortable in the wooded area of ExpoCité for a big community picnic. Just bring your lunch and a camping chair! Where: Place Jean-Béliveau, Québec Admission: Free for everyone Come dance, move, and celebrate with us! In case of bad weather, the event will take place at the Grand Marché de Québec. Free parking in Lot 6 for the day
