From Adventure to Adventure is an impressionistic biographical musical by Serge Lama that invites the audience to watch and experience it as if it were a painting. A painting whose characters embody the full spectrum of the human soul. We’ll see them laugh, love, make mistakes, betray, question themselves, make amends, start over, sing… and tell their stories. Is that not the strength of humanity? To tell stories so we can understand one another, together?
Some fifteen songs and excerpts from the singer’s repertoire come to life in different ways within the narrative; sometimes as vehicles for the story, sometimes as markers of the timeline, but always inhabited by the characters who live them, offering a new interpretation... because nothing is set in stone. Everything is in motion, always... you just have to listen!
