The Montérégie region will host part of the 2026 UCI Road World Championships, with the elite women’s and elite men’s road races passing through several municipalities in the region, including Brossard (starting at Quartier DIX30), Longueuil, Carignan, Chambly, Richelieu, Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, and Mont-Saint-Hilaire.
The public can watch the riders pass by along the road course free of charge as part of this major international sporting event organized jointly with Montreal.
