Following its huge success in 2022, *Verdict* returns to the stage for a second installment featuring Paul Doucet and Sonia Vachon in new courtroom exchanges addressing various social issues.
Whether it’s the plight of caregivers, cases of defamation, or domestic violence, Quebec society has been deeply engaged in these debates whenever such cases have come before the courts.
This show offers an interactive experience, enriched by multimedia context, where the audience is invited to take a stand during the final trial by rendering a verdict, just as jury members would. As the final stage of a trial, the closing arguments are vivid, powerful, and moving. A poignant and insightful look at what defines us as a society.
