Have you always dreamed of restoring your grandmother’s old piece of furniture? In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of restoring a wooden object or piece of furniture.
We’ll walk you through each step and explain which products to use. We’ll provide you with a wooden item so you can perfect your techniques under the guidance of a professional. It’s a cute little wall shelf that you can use at home.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
- Sanding techniques
- Choosing products for stripping and finishing
- How to finish a wooden shelf to take home
- Theoretical concepts behind the restoration process. Come learn the secrets of those who know how to make an old dresser look beautiful :)
The workshop is led by Finition Vintage.
All materials are provided: the wooden piece, tools, and products! Ages 16 and up
The activity takes place in all weather conditions, unless safety is compromised
