About
soma offers a reflection on identity ambiguity, intergenerational transmission, and memory. Through an installation that invokes the body, traces, and repetition, the project explores the construction of female identity, between collective history and intimate narratives. Reflecting the diversity of women's experiences and conditions, soma encourages visitors, regardless of gender, to reflect on their own history and the legacies that run through it.
The exhibition is centered around a video projection presenting a performance, accompanied by a physical presence of the elements that compose it. A sound garment covered with ceramic pieces, used during the performance, is displayed as a trace of the gesture, as well as a set of ceramic forms presented in the space.
The activity takes place in all weather conditions, unless safety is compromised
