Even within the austere rigor of black and white, July Talk has always been a work in progress. More precisely, it is a work of progress, a shared quest for collective euphoria as a way of life. For this compulsively DIY and rigorously fulfilled band, the essence of July Talk has always been the tension between precision and chaos. It is between these two extremes, in this kinetic, static, and sticky space, that July Talk truly takes shape. On stage, July Talk unfolds and explodes. The action shifts from slow-motion agitation to a communion that bends the back, fluid (like the body) and liquid (like the dark and sticky phase of metamorphosis). Things get weird...
