This recital explores the profound contrasts that characterize music. Through Tchaikovsky's Seasons and Rachmaninoff's Second Sonata, Hugues Cloutier will take you on a magnificent musical journey.
Renowned for the richness of his interpretations, Hugues Cloutier holds a doctorate in performance from the University of Montreal and a prize with high distinction from the Conservatoire de musique du Québec. He studied with Gérald Lévesque, Marc Durand, Jean-Paul Sévilla, and André Laplante, and has participated in several national and international competitions. He has performed in Canada and France as a soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist. A sought-after teacher, he has been teaching at the Conservatoire de musique de Val-d'Or since 2011 and has been its director since 2021.
