About
The exhibition committee of art history students at Laval University presents *Frondescence: Meditations on Time and Space in Nature*, an exhibition curated by Sarah-Jeanne Drouin and Margaux Guillonneau. It brings together works by twelve artists: Maude Authier, Michèle Barcena-Sougavinski, Damien Checoury, Francis Gaignard, Nova-Katarina Gubash, Frédérique Harvey, Mélissa Isabel, Sandrine Martel, Jessica Martin-Lafond, Stésy McInnis-Rail, Sonia Plourde, and Alice Roberge. In the Anthropocene era, we recognize that it can be difficult to maintain a positive relationship with our environment. The exhibition brings together practices that seek a peaceful experience of nature. The works on display explore this theme through sculpture, photography, drawing, textile art, plant printing, artist’s books, as well as video and sound art. A satellite event of Manif d’art 12—The Biennial.
The activity takes place in all weather conditions, unless safety is compromised
