Through her actions, Amy Malbeuf affirms her body as an Indigenous woman—who, like the forest, are objectified by the colonial gaze—and her relationship with the living, as in A Divine Persona of SWof1…Wof4. […] Then, nearby, other portals lead us into the depths of the water. With his fishing holes, Jordan Bennett invites us, like ice fishermen, to take our time.
