Held on August 14, the Perseid Festival offers an exceptional evening that brings together science, nature, discovery, and wonder!

About
A few new activities:
“Quest for the Stars” Orienteering Course—an orienteering challenge in the forest where participants, equipped with a map and their phones, will set out in search of seven stars hidden throughout the area.
Animated Storytelling on the Constellations—An immersive storytelling experience that will take children on a journey through the myths, legends, and secrets of the major constellations.
Several activities are back:
Presentations and Q&A sessions with astronomers;
Guided hikes along the “Planet Trail”—a path designed to represent the distances between the planets to scale;
Access to more than 15 telescopes, including the second- and third-largest publicly accessible telescopes in Quebec;
Rocket launches—one of the event’s most popular activities;
Astronomy-themed face painting for children;
Food stands and a family area.
In case of inclement weather, the activity may be postponed until the following day
