About
Charlos is a duo consisting of guitarist Charles Desnoyers and singer Charlotte Lafortune. These two friends have been offering a delightful blend of classical and jazz arrangements for four years now. From the Quebec repertoire to French chanson classics, including your favorite songs from the last century, the Charlos Duo is sure to delight you with its rich and unique sound. You may recognize Charlotte from her appearance on the prestigious TV show “La Voix” in the winter of 2026. This young artist brings a fresh approach to her music and takes pleasure in reinterpreting classics of popular music and jazz, much to the delight of her audience. Charles is currently studying classical guitar performance at Laval University under the guidance of David Jacques. He has also participated in master classes, including those led by Pavel Steidl and Paul Galbraith, offered by the Société de Guitare de Québec, and one led by Pablo Sainz-Villegas, offered by the Orchestre symphonique de Québec.
