About
The Sandy Bay Festival returns for its third edition, September 25–27, 2026, at Baie-des-Sables Beach, at the foot of Mount Button in Lac-Mégantic. At the height of fall foliage season, the region becomes the setting for a gathering of camper vans.
On the program: an exhibitor village, free shows, music, yoga on the beach, talks, a race, food trucks, and watercraft—all within the world’s first International Dark Sky Reserve.
Daily admission is free for everyone, even without a camper van. The camper van village, reserved for overnight parking, requires a fee and advance reservation.
A weekend to sleep by the lake, stargaze, support local producers, and explore the hiking trails or bike path with family or friends.
The activity takes place in all weather conditions, unless safety is compromised
